📋 Overview

At TaxWapaS, we aim to provide a smooth and professional ITR filing experience. Since our service involves significant expert time, document review, and CA involvement, our refund policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our team.

Please read this policy carefully before making a payment. If you have any questions, reach out to us on WhatsApp or email before purchasing.

📊 Refund Scenarios at a Glance

Situation Refund
You paid but filing has not started and you cancel within 24 hours Full Refund
You paid, work has started (documents reviewed) but ITR not yet filed Partial Refund
ITR has been successfully filed on the official portal No Refund
Duplicate payment made by mistake Full Refund
You provided incorrect documents causing filing errors No Refund
Delay caused by Income Tax portal issues (beyond our control) No Refund
Service not delivered due to our error Full Refund

✅ When a Full Refund is Applicable

  • You cancel within 24 hours of payment and work has not yet started
  • You made a duplicate payment in error
  • TaxWapaS is unable to complete the service due to our own error or inability

🔁 When a Partial Refund is Applicable

A partial refund may be offered if:

  • Work has started (your documents have been reviewed by our team) but ITR has not yet been filed
  • You request cancellation after review has begun but before submission

In such cases, a processing fee (typically ₹199–₹299 depending on plan) will be deducted to cover the expert time already spent. The remaining amount will be refunded.

❌ When No Refund is Applicable

  • Your ITR has been successfully submitted on the official Income Tax portal
  • Filing errors or delays caused by incorrect or incomplete documents provided by you
  • Delays due to issues on the official Income Tax portal (server downtime, OTP failures, etc.) — these are beyond our control
  • You change your mind after filing is complete
  • The Income Tax Department raises a demand or notice after filing — this does not entitle you to a service refund

📝 How to Request a Refund

  1. Contact us on WhatsApp (+91 97189 40930) or email (support@taxwapas.com) with your name, PAN, and reason for refund request
  2. Our team will review your request within 2 business days
  3. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days
  4. You will receive a confirmation message once the refund is initiated

â„šī¸ Important Note on Income Tax Refunds

Please note that the tax refund you receive from the Income Tax Department (if your return shows excess TDS or advance tax paid) is completely separate from our service fee. TaxWapaS has no control over when or how the government processes your tax refund — that is entirely handled by the Income Tax Department.

Our refund policy above applies only to the service fee you pay to TaxWapaS.
